    Tach for Mark 58A for prop testing

    I don't need a dash-installed tach. A more modern one hanging from the cowl temporarily would be fine since the boat has rear-seat steering. I just need something to help me with prop selection. Cheap would be good, also.<br /><br />Thanks!!

    Is there a tachometer solution for my Mark 58A that is as easy as the handheld tach that I use when tuning up my '48 Chev truck?<br /><br />I don't want to mount it on the boat dash but just want to check RPM's during prop testing.<br /><br />Thanks!!

    Lubricating control cables on a 1959 2-handle box.

    Can the control cables on a 1959 2-handle box be lubricated without removing the inner wire? Any tricks?<br /><br />If the inner wire is removed, can it hang up when reinstalled? That's what worries me.<br /><br />Finally, what lube should be used? The manual calls for an anti-corrosion oil.<br...
