I am rebuilding my trim cylinders and the Wipe Seals seem too small. 1st time doing this service and I can't help but feel they should fit snug around the outer diameter of the cylinder.
I know the inner metal ring expands, but it is also very tight around the cylinder shaft. I did not want to...

I just bought my first boat and it performs great, but it has a lot of rust. Took on a small amount of water on a two hour trip.
I will post some pictures. I am looking at a lot of work and service/maintenance. I have no idea where I should start from cleaning to rust to repairs... PLEASE...
