So this is what happens:
When i am in a small canal the engine runs perfectly but when someone goes past me fast the engine nearly stops and when im going onto the lake with mid sized waves it just doesnt work above shift speed and sounds like its about to die
What could be the problem?
So I have a small 4.5hp evinrude with a tail from a different outboard but same model of tail because the old one was broken, and theres a knob on it for changing it to tilt or run mode, it doesnt do anything and when i tried my outboard on my boat with it on run (like it should be) it kicked...
