    Am I missing something on Merc 165 (250ci)

    Just sat my 165 Mercruiser back in my old Cruisers. What I am wondering is; the rear motor mounts are metal to metal. Shouldn't there be a fiber or rubber grommet between the mounts? When I pulled the engine, I don't recall anything in between the mounts. Thanks folks!
