First time posting but have been reading alot on my Alpha 1 Gen 2 sterndrive, 98+ version. I have gear oil leaking out the water intake and have decided to replace the carrier seal below the impeller. When I got the lower separated from the upper a piece of black rubber fell out. Pics attached...
