    5.0 to 5.3

    My old 305 5.0 vortec it done. Found a very good deal on used 5.3. Will anything off of 5.0 fit 5.3? 5.3 is just long block will need all external parts. and exhaust plus not even sure it will bolt up. Any advice so I dont make a huge mistake buying 5.4 would be great. Thanks

    Cracked Block Replace 5.0 Or 5.7

    Ok pull the classic da move. Missed plug when I drained boat last winter now have a 5" crack in block. My boat is a 2002 tahoe with a 5.0 motor carb. Not sure which way to go. I am going to have to replace unless someone knows magic. So was looking at long blocks and seeing very little...

    89 115 Mariner problems

    First I replaced impeller worked great for 2 trips to lake now no water from the pee hole however have water from exhaust at the top rear thru the prop and fins in midsection just above were the lower unit bolts together. Also not sure it this motor has a t-stat if anyone knows Thanks John
