    towing with a blazer

    I just bought a 03 blazer with 4.3 v6, towing package and step bumber rated at 3500 lbs. Is this sufficent to pull 3000lbs? I have been using a 4 cyl s-10 and it has been tough, have not tried the blazer yet.

    prop diameter

    I have a 3.0 alpha I which runs a 14x19 prop. I recently changed to a 14.8x19 and now I am thowing arooster tail, it is only 1/4" from hitting the trim tab and the trim tab extends down about 1.5" lower then the blades. Do I have a problem? The boat seems to run fine.
