    Searay won't crank when it's hot

    A friend has an 89 Searay with a 3.0. I had to tow him in yesterday after his wouldn't crank back. It ran fine all day, then wouldn't crank after a good running. Later after it cooled off, it cranked fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    40 hp Johnson lower unit

    I recently changed to oil in my 1994 johnson. It was dark, not milky looking and smelled burnt. There was also a consideral amount of metal shavings on the plug magnet. I am the third owner of this boat. Is there anything I should be worried about. The motor is oil injected.

    Help...trim not working right

    My motor trim works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I've replaced the switch and cleaned the two relays and connectors. If I press on the relays it will work. It is a 1994 Johnson 40 hp.

    Trim button not working

    I have a 1994 Johnson 40hp. The trim button on the side is worn out. Sometimes it will work if you hold it in for a while.     1994 Neptune Pontoon

    I am considering a 1994 Neptune pontoon, 20 ft with a 40 hp Oil injected Johnson, drive-on trailer and accessories for $4000. Is this a good price? Except for a torn captains chair and a few seams that have splint on the seats, the boat is in great shape. Any suggestion?

    I am considering a 1994 Neptune pontoon that has the same year 40 hp Johnson with Oil injection. I'm not familiar with the oil injection so are there any concerns with this feature.

    1989 2.3L

    Can anyone provide info on the 2.3L I/O. I am attempted to purchase a 1989 Bayliner Capri. Is this motor sufficient for an 18ft boat. It was recently rebuilt. Any problems or defects in motor.

    Can anyone provide info on 1989 Bayliner Capri. I've found an 18ft, with rebuilt 2.3L and new interior for $2900. Is this a reasonable price and are has anyone experience problems with this model boat or motor.
