    Converting 4hp back to a short shaft .

    I have a 1971 4hp Evinrude that I had converted to a long shaft many years ago for a sailboat kicker. I would like to convert it back to a short shaft. Can someone tell me how to do this and if any extra parts are needed.

    New impeller needed?

    My Yamaha 8HP trolling motor has an erratic Peeing problem"". Sometimes the water flow out the tube is ok and sometimes it diminishes to a trickle and even stops. All I have to do to restore it is to shove a tiny wire into the opening and the flow is restored. The tube doesn't' seem to be...
