    Will a Merc 650 handle the same RPMS the 650XS did?

    flywheel hitting stator

    Anyone ever ran into this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpHDcdvKMwY I couldn't remove the flywheel ...suspense is killing me. I'm going to guess the stator is to far out allowing contact with the magnets. The plate obviously has some wear/wobble to it also.
