    how to change oil????????????//

    i have a 78.merc 3.0. i have changed oil in some other boats but they have a big tube to suck the oil out...on mine all there is, is a regular size dipstick tube. i changed it from the oil pan last year..are you so post to take the oil out of the dipstick tube?

    87 alpha 1 drive fit on my 78?? help help help

    i have a 1978 3.0 merc....i need a lower unit and i found a good alpha 1 drive unit from a 1987 ... will it fit my 1978 3.0 ????? this is the site its on its pretty cheap i wanna buy it but i need to know if it will fit...

    outdrive prolbems oil change

    i have a 1978 18 ft century 3.0 merc..the lower unit doesnt want to go in gear half the time...rev slips a lil bit but foward is good.i checked the cables and adj. them but it didnt really do much..from what i rember when i put a impeller pump in it that the L shaped shifter thing that comes out...
