Ok, this is an update:
Went out today out of Port Everglades. About a 45 min idle out hit the throttle, and after just a moment or two above 4200, the starboard engine rev'd up/ then down, alarm when off, and both dropped below2000. Once in neutral, alarm is off and back in gear no problem...
