    replacement parts

Hi all. I have a 1970 115hp in line 6 outboard. Serial number is 2933436. I believe it is one of the last attributed to 1970. I am looking for the distributor shaft, part number 4312. It's the little bug on the end of the shaft. Sorry, bug is not a technical term. Every so often I see some of...

    1970 1150 noise

I turn the key on and crank. When it fires and blub, blub's a couple times and doesn't wanna completely run it makes a 1-2 second gggrrring, whinning noise after the firing stops. If I just crank and crank there is no noise. Only if it fires then stops firing. Could that be a dragging starter or...

    1970 distributor

The dissy is out of the motor. I pulled the shaft and rotor out. Above the rotor disc is some rubber...

Wanting to return her to her former glory. I noticed there is a broken wire going into the distributor, right where it goes...

1967 95hp. Removing it from my boat since the top piston decided to take a trip through the head. Got it lifted off the boat, all connections undone except getting the steering cable loose. Should the rod just slide out from the cylinder, tube, whatever u call it or is there something holding...

95 hp throttle and shift cables

What is the best way to get the throttle and shift cables undone where they enter the motor. I know it's silly but I can't figure what the trick is. Not where the cable ends but where they go from outside motor to the inside. I have a 1967 95 hp mercury 6 cylinder. Thx in advance.
