    Are the 60-70's Johnson super sea horse engines good? What were their problems? Were they somewhat fuel "efficent" Trying to decide which engine to put on 16' boat. 1960 evinrude starflite 2, or johnson super sea horse. 60's or 70's. All replies are welcome.

    I just bought 2 outboard engines, one is a evinrude starflite 2, 75hp? maybe? The second is a Johnson super sea horse, electric. the model number is 50522, the serial number is 05196 on the evinrude. The model number is V4Hl-17S, the serial number is J2518298. Any, Any info on these motors...
