    1st time in salt

    Next week I am planning on mooring my boat in salt water for the first time. It will be in salt for at least two months, do I have to change any parts for this short period of time? Will I see any rust in just two months?

    transom motor will not work

    I am new to boating re:96' inboard 3.0 mercruiser for some reason the transom does not want to go up or down until the motor has been turned on, is this normal? All i hear is clicking sound when I push the downward button. I have cleaned the battery terminals and topped up the fluid.
