    I am looking at purchasing a bass boat with either a 150 Yamaha V-Max carburetor or a 150 Mercury EFI. I heard a lot of bad things about Mercury but I know Mercury has improved over the years. Any true facts as which is the best?

    What to buy, new or used?

    I am looking at purchasing a new Stratos 285 XL (18'6") bass boat with a 150Yamaha V-Max for about mid twenties. I can get a bigger boat (19-20') for a less money if I buy a used one. There are a couple Ranger, nitro and stratos boats in the local trader all are at least 19'and a 20' or two...
