    aluminum prop to stainless

    I need a new prop. my old one is aluminum 15 1/2 x 15. Iam thinking of going to stainless and my question is should i use the same dia and pitch or does it matter. i am not at max rpm range at wot. about 200 rpm less then it should be.

    prop diameter

    can someone please explain to me a prop diameter question. presently i am running a 15 1/2 x 15 aluminum and i have a 14 1/2 x 14 stainless i would like to try out. i understand less pitch will increase my rpm but i dont undrestand what less diameter will do if anything ?
