    I have read that a 15 1/4 x 19 pitch Mercury Mirage prop runs a lower rpm because of the diameter. I have a IMP Sportsman 220 4.3 v6 alpha 1 o/d 3400 lbs. should I go to a Mirage 15 1/4 x 17 to achieve 4800 rpms

    merc 4.3 plug size to use

    I purchased a rebuilt 4.3 block (#14099090) with vortec heads (#12556140) what size plugs should I use. my original parts are from a 1996 4.3 with a thunderbolt 4 distributor, no timing sensor ,4brl weber carb. I was using mr43T@.035....do I match the plugs with the heads and if so what gap?

    4.3 timing tab

    I just purchased a 4.3 short block 96-98 #14099090 it came with a 6 bolt plastic timing cover my old engine is a 1995 4.3 My question is where do I install my timing tab? I want to use most of my 1995 parts if that's possible
