    Hi Anyone, Please Help. I have a 1980 140Hp Johnson engine that starts great, idles and revs fine, and will will run at low speeds. When you go to accellerate it will run for 50 meters or so then bog down and stall. It will start again and idle but when you go to take off again it will bog down...

    1980 140HP Johnson Bogs Down

    I have a 140 Hp Johnson Outboard Engine that starts and idles fine but bogs down and stalls when trying to go any faster than wake speed. New carb kits and cleaning did not solve the problem. Please help.
