    Mariner 115 hpreverse - no rpm's

    115 hp Mariner 6 cylinder early 1980's. When I shift to reverse I get no increase in rpm's above just idle speed. No enough speed to back up out of boathouse. Forward works fine. Cables on engine are engaging shift lever but I don't know what gas/carb cable should be doing in reverse...

    Mariner 115 carburetor question???

    Older model, around 1979, 115 hp 6 cylinder Mariner. The third carb from the top of engine is not taking gas at fast idle. Gas is getting to the carb at fuel line but not coming thru carb. I think I remember reading some of the 4 & 6 cylinder Mercs & Mariners did not supply gas to all carbs...

    Control Cable Older Mariner 115 hp

    I have a broken black plastic end on a older Mariner 115 hp 6 cy, s/n 5430712, control cable. Is this plastic end replacable without replacing the entire cable? Does anyone have a part number and an online source? Thanks
