should I buy a 1999 115hp Evinrude ficht

I've heard good and bad, this motor never got thr ecu upgrade kit, has 150 hrs, and has never been back to the dealer for service work. Thanks!

1999 Evinrude 115 ficht

What is the general opinion on the 1999 115hp Evinrude Ficht. The boat I may buy never had the upgrade kit. Is that bad? About 150 total hours, mostly run and gun fishing. Thanks, Pete
