    1979 55Hp electrical problems...

    When I turn the key nothing happens, the choke does not turn either. So I jumped the starting solinoid to the ingintion wire and the motor turned over. I also pull started the motor and it ran mint with no issue???? What in the ignition could go wrong? I opened it up and could not find any...
