    let me start with hello boater ,i am changing the lower unit lube on a 85hp evinerude with electric shift ,what is the right lube for it ,right now it smells like just plain old gear lube ,i was told that was not good for it and it took a special kind just for electric shift unit ,is that right...

    more power

    i have a 85hp evinerude 1972 ,it run just great ,it is on a 15' procraft ,i also have a 125hp evinerude for parts ,can i take the reedblock and carb from the 125 and install them on the 85,will this give me more power and a little more speed:confused:
