    Shift Control ?

    I have a project going. Doing transom and stringers. going to go Mercruiser instead of OMC. A guy say's my controll on the helm and steering will not work with Mercruiser. Is this true or does he just want my gear. It's a single lever. Don't know the brand right at the moment. Thanks; John

    I don't know anything about Volvo. Which outdrives for the V8. I am looking for a donor boat or out drives but don't know what fits what Also I was told that alot of them can be changed to the daul prop. True? Will be going on a 4800# boat. Thanks

    Power Steering

    Will Power Steering from a OMC Stringer work on a Mercruiser or Vovlo? The reson I ask is I am changeing setups and selling the OMC stuff. Will keep the power steering if it will swap! Thanks!

    I am doing a transom and stringers on a 24' Silverline. Plan on plugging the hole and changing the OMC to something more better. LOL Boat is a 79 and would like to go at least that to mid 80s. What would you put in and why?
