    red or orange lever on carbs e48eslen "purpose" ??!!!

    I am curious about a red or orange lever (color blind ;-[ ) on carb between 2 intake throats ??!! does this lever regulate idle mixture ? or what is its purpose ??! i can't get motor to idle after running 1-2 hours then trying to dock !! what should idle rpm be ? & can i adjust rpm at linkage...
