    it's the middle and lower cyl on starboard side , the middle one was just a few drops of water , the lower one an ounce or too. I ordered the gasket and seal but they won't be in until Tues. or weds. . I also took off thermostats housing and there was no thermostats in either side . my dealer...

    so I got the divider plate off , only 1 bolt was a little tuff to remove , and it was not rotten at all , a little carbon but not bad , so where should I be looking next ? head gasket ? Thanks

    serial # OT556519 engine ran fine all last year , when taking it to boat ramp at end of season in no wake zone (about 10 min ride) notice temp gauge going up , no alarm sounded and no sign of over heating. where i keep boat in winter i hooked up garden hose (not muffs) and flushed with water...

    yes i have neutral and engine turns when turning prop , so i started engine put into forward and reverse and all is good , thanks for the help !

    ok so it does spin freely in neutral , but put it in forward and turn the prop and the engine turns over (flywheel moves cw) but does not ratchet

    motor is a 2002 200 hp efi serial # ot 556519 , i replaced water pump and did not read the shift shaft set up as in the stickey above , just left control in neutral . do i have to take apart again or is there a way to check to be sure it's right . first time doing a mercury

    ot556519 replacing oil hose from remote tank to motor because of leak , I have factory service manual which says I should prime oil pump if hose runs out of oil . The manual says I need DDT to do it the right way. Is there any other way to do this ? The manual also has whats called shift switch...

    is there a differance between oil line and fuel line

    2002 200hp efi , rubber oil line from remote 2 stroke oil tank to motor needs to be replaced , is there a special hose for oil or just use fuel line ? also what would the i.d. be , I measured 1/4 inch , does that sound right ? Thank You
