    50 hp Force Prop.

    Looking for a 14 spline, 10 pitch 10 3/8 dia, non through the hub exhaust, used or rebuilt Same as Mich. Wheel # 072014. WOT is only 3800 rpm at aprox. 22 mph. recomended WOT is 4500 to 5500 rpm. Prop now is a 10 3/8 x11 1/2 pitch on a 17 ft alu. boat.

    Timing on 87 Force 50hp

    Is there any fairly accurate way to check timing on the engine without actually going WOT on the lake? Have a 87 Force 50 hp Model C.

    87 Force 50hp drive pin

    My lower unit has a stainless steel drive pin at the prop. I was told it should be brass so it can sheer if necessary. Parts book shows a pt# K247, but does not indicate either brass or steel. Does anyone have an opinion?
