    1984 johnson 70, idle problems

    motor sat for 2 years,,it started right up 4 me,,ran for a minute then stalled, it will restart, and either rev up really high on its own, or stall, the throttle response past idle is very responsive..only idling is my problem. any tips on how to correct this would be great.. i do have a manual
