i have a 1971 mercury 75 (7.5hp) it runs fine in a barrel starts first pull. when i when i get the boat in the water (under a load) it gets to a quarter throttle then bogs and stalls. i am getting around 90lbs compression per cylinder. and the carb has been cleaned recently. and help in solving...
well hopefully a quick question. i was given the above mentiond motor from a friend it is my second outboard motor. it starts and runs fine but it does not exhaust water. the problem is (not to sound stupid) i cannot find where the water is suposed to enter the lower unit. i orderd a manual...
