    Hole in water tube

    I am working on a 1975 70 johnson I was cleaning parts for reassembly when i noticed a small hole in my water tube .Its on the lower side of the bend and about 5 inches from where the water pump tube guide is located should this hole be there ? i did not notice it till i started cleaning parts
