    I have done a ton of reading on here and i have everything in place to start re-doing the floor stringers and transome, my only real question is do I have to put the boat in a cradle or can i leave it on the trailer? It is a roller trailer.

    Ford 302 model 888 1977 riser bellows

    I have blowen a hole thru 2 riser bellows on the port side in the same spot i thought maybe it was the flapper but it is fine( just took it out) blowing a ton of carbon thru exhaust but what I am trying to figure out before i put another new one on is why any suggestions. thanks

    I am over heating at idle and idle in gear I'm good about 140 f when i hit the throttle she slowly climbs to about 220f i drop the throttle and it will hold that temp 220f work done new impeller, new water pump, new shutters, elbows and risers are all cleaned and good condition, new thermostat...

    using a drift sock

    Need to slow boat down for trolling with downriggers currently @ 3mph need to be @ 1.5 mph I tried using a drift sock and got down far enough but with it hooked to one side of the boat I can't turn to the other side (hooked to port can't turn starboard) was wondering if anyone has tried this...
