I want to replace the pickup coil in a Delco distributor on Mercruiser 3.0. According to the manual, you only have to remove a retainer clip to remove the coil. My distributor has a timer core which appears to turn because it is notched with the distributor shaft. I don't see any way to...
I am trying to replace the magnetic pulse generator (ignition coil) on a Mecruiser 135 HP Alpha One engine. How do you get the timer core removed to replace the coil under it?
