    Manual indicates that these adjustments should be made while tied to a dock. I realize that this would be ideal but can you get close enough using a flushing device then make final adjustments in the water? Thanks

    I haven't used a tachometer for many years. I want to check my idle speed with a hand held tach. I believe that one side goes to the positive side of the engine coil and the other to ground. Is this correct? Thanks

    Most Trim tab have instructions on how far from the outer edge or from center tabs should be installed butI am having difficulty in finding out if there is a minimum thickness a transom should be to install these tabs. Is there a thickness that would not be recommended for an install? Thanks

    Installing Starter I/O

    Has anyone found a less difficult was to install<br />a starter in a 305 Mercruiser when it has to be done basicly by feel? I seem to be having problems<br />aligning the bolt holes while holding starter. ie Like putting something in the bolt holes so the don't slide out etc. Thanks
