    60 hp 4 stroke woes

    the engine runs great up to 4500 rpm,at 46 to 47 it sounds like random detonation also every now and again the intermitant beeper sounds.unfortunately i dont have the DDT to diagnose the ecm.could that be a possibility?

    m25c,overheat at idle

    loses water at idle ,new impeller,wated tube cked for cracks.head gasket and thermostat replaced..top cyl. has 125 lbs,bottom has 70 lbs.customer is aware of this but does not want to address at this time..ex.plates and gaskets are okengine is being tested in tank...any ideas fellows...tks

    89 force,blown ph base gaskets

    3rd time in shop,new itermediate plate,mid section has been surfaced as has the ph base,50 hp.blows on starbard side.1st time in bolts from adapter plate to ph were broken.got them out,had to go from 5/16 to 3/8...cured that prob.not the gaskets.any ideas.....thanks in advance :confused:
