    Pump replacement

    I have a 1999 50 hp johnson on 20 ft pontoon.Last night while going through a shallow channel I briefly hit bottom with thr trim up.The engine revved high.After that it started cutting out and died.Restarted and just made it to dock.This morning pulled plugs-alittle wet and very clean.almost new...

    No oil indicator

    I have a 1999 50hp johnson on a pontoon boat that I just bought used.Going through everything I started it and the no oil light stays on.Engine seems to run fine-smokes like a 2 stroke should.Anything I should check before launching for the first time.1st time posting on this site.
