    Power Pack Testing?

    I am looking for details on how to test a power pack for a 1971 / 125 hp Johnson. I have the Seloc manual and the trouble shooting section appears to have error's in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    125 hp johnson / no spark

    I have a 1971, 125 hp Johnson. Engine was running but died, replaced coil, started right up. Engine ran for about 10 mintes then died again. No more spark, it appears to be the coil again. What could cause the coil to burn out? Is there a way to test coil off motor? Any suggestions.

    1971 125hp johson /no spark

    I am working on 71 125 hp johnson. The motor was running and suddenly stopped after trouble shooting I replaced the coil and the motor started immediately. After about 10 minutes running the motor died again, no spark it again appears to be the coil. What could burn out coils so quickly? Thanks
