    Rough ride.

    I have a 17' bowrider. When ever I come into rough water or the wake from other boats is it best to turn perpendicular to the oncoming swell? I have hit some of them the wrong way, feels like I slammed the boat against a rock. :eek:

    What is too much "prop slop"?

    I put my engine in gear (not running) and turned my prop to the right and then to the left. When I reverse direction I can freely turn the prop for about a fifth of a rotation. The engine is a 1993 Force 70. :rolleyes:
