    Re: Stringers what stringers? No evidence of any core just alot of waterloged foam between the old plywood floor and outer fiberglass. Here is a picture of what I am working with.

    :confused: I am at the start of my rebuild of a 1961 Marine-craft 17' cuddy I took out the rotten floor and waterloged foam to find only one stringer running directly down the center of the boat. It looks to be a shaped 2x6 that was glassed in my confusing is where are the other stringers...

    Boat ID

    I just aquired a 1961 17' cuddy cabin as a restoration / rebuild project. The make of the boat is Marine-Craft engineering from Orange Ca. I have been unable to find out any info on the boat or It's manufacture any assistance or advise would be appreciated.
