    Trim pump

    I know there's 100 post about the trim pump issues. But I need to know 1 thing.. 1997 5.7 merc Bravo 3 the trim will only go down with the switch and up with the trailer button. The transom is brand new and when I try and jump the solenoid I get nothing.. Does the switch need to be activated...
