Hi I'm going to wire in a car stereo into my boat. I was wondering if I can just tap into the wires running to my vhf to get my 12volts?? Will the vhf and stereo interfer with each other? Also can I mount them side by side (8inches apart). Thanks for the input.

My neighbour at the marina gave me his vhf radio when his wife bought him a new one for his b-day. He had a 8A fuse in it. When I wired it into my boat ('78 Chris Craft Express 281) I could not get it to come on until I put a 10A fuse in it. Then everything was fine. Is this OK, what does this mean?

Is it ok to use brass for fuel lines? I put a water separator/fuel filter on my boat and had to replace one line which was now too short. This line was brass. Should I use brass again? :rolleyes:
