I have a 17 ft center console with a 1989 110HP johnson. It takes several seconds for it to plaine out. I want to put a 4 blade prop on it what is my best option. I want it to plain quickly but not lose any top in speed.
I recently had the heads off on my 110hp. I had heads resurfaced and re installed with new gaskets and torqued to specs. They leak!!!!! Should I try to use some sort of sealant or RTV?? Someone told me I could try to stack up 2 gaskets and it might seal. give me some input please.
