    Modified Transom

    Has anyone done a major transom remanufacture? I have a short transom jon boat 15" and want to raise it to 20" for a standard length shaft motor. Has anyone done the cutting fitting rewelding etc. The boat is an alumacraft 16' construction grade boat. Any ideas or input would be great. Thanks!

    78 evinrude 25 hp with rebuilt carb...idle issues
