what kind of gear oil is best for a 25 hp jonhson J25tecrd i mostly use if for duck hunting, is some better for cold weather, what brands are best ect does the oil need to be mached to the load on the motor
i am overhauling my lower unit on a 1984 johnson 25hp outboard, J25tecrd and i am having troble removeing the prop shaft seal form the head assy i have a new inner and outer seal on the way is there a tool out for this or some kind of trick any help
I am changing the prop shaft in mt 25hp johnson J25TECRD it is a 1984 and i wanted to know what all seals i have to replace in the lower unit i see some o-rings and the seal around the gear box and i seen some prop shaft seals on line but not sure were it would be dose this come in a kit or do...
in my 1984 25 hp johnson how much oil should i use in fuel i run 50:1 now i do most or my boating in winter duck hunting , very cold water. i usualy have a heavy loaded boat , 16 foot river jon any help thanks
