    What does the deep cycle battery do as opposed to the motor starting battery. Am I going to need both kinds of batteries to start the motor and then use the other electronics on the boat?

    new 87 bass tracker

    Just got the boat this weekend and am going to convert it to a hunting/fishing rig....The seam down the middle of the hull seams to need some sealant. The rest of the boat is in good shape outside of replacing some decking and carpet... What would you recommend...it looks like a little silicone...
