    Tach stops climbing at 2900rmp but the boat revs....

    I just bought a 2002 Glastron SX195 and when taking it out last Sunday, the Tach reads fine and what seems to be accurate from idle up to 2900 rpm (approx) and even though the boat revs out the tach never climbs. Any thoughts?
