    I’m no expert, but my old boat had a Merc TBI with electric fuel pump. I discovered that the key needed to be on for about 5 seconds before cranking to allow the fuel pressure to come up.

    What Brand of Brake pads are best quality? What do you guys use for quality?

    Funny- Just today I ordered new brake pads for our 80,000 mile Mazda CX5. Did some research and decided on these Raybestos EHT pads due to their high rating and reasonable cost. Hopefully they’ll last as long as the OEM pads!

    Your boat is 23 years old, so I’d take a hard look at the hoses from the fill to the tank as well as the vent line. They can become permeable. Mine is 40 and I’ve replaced every flexible hose onboard.
