    LOWER UNIT SWAP 1985 90hp L6

    This engine is on a 17' Montauk w/long shaft. Did Mercury make a shorter shaft for this engine ? It's obvious its too long for this hull and the owner would like to swap it out which will allow the boat/motor to be trimmed properly. Thanks again one and all.
