    Does anyone know if it is alright to just eliminate the 3-prong disconnect and "direct pipe" the fuel line from the outboard to the gas tank on the mid 50's seahorses? Thanks!

    Does anyone have any thoughts on the best spark plugs for a 1958 Johnson 5.5 hp Seahorse? NGK has an option for "surface discharge" plugs......any thoughts on that? Thanks!
