    accidently Ran out of 2 cycle oil

    big mistake, I forgot to fill up the oil tank and ran out of 2 cycle oil while running up river. Motor shut down. the Johnson 115 V4 will start back up, but does not sound right. did not run it much after. Just off the top of your heads, what do you think i messed up... i am thinking i might...

    Re-seal rub rail

    I need to reseal my rub rail (i believe that is what it is called) was thinking about using 3m 5200. is this a good idea or should i used something else.

    OK, i am a long time motor head, but all with land bond cars. was wondering if there are any tips or tricks, or a performance parts area for O/B motors. I have a 91 Johnson 115 V4 Pro and was wondering what is availble to increase the performance.

    Just got this boat and was wondering which battery all the bilage, lights, and other accessaries should be hooked to. Starting battery or trolling deepcycle battery.... sorry if this is a dumb question...

    Where to mount Pitot

    New to boating world. not 100% sure the names of the different areas...not sure what is being referenced to as the stern or white water... need to know where to properly mount the Pitot and what is a good product for filling holes. Have read serveral post, but they all kind of like go around...

    Taking on water???

    I have a 91 Aries 170 F/S. Noticed when i take it out of the boat out pull the bilage plug out there seems to be alot of water coming out. drains strong for about a minute or so. is this normal or do i have a leak somewhere? where should i start my quest if i do have a leak. have bilage pump...

    extra prop??

    Boat a aries 170 f/s with 115 Johnson and it came with the below extra prop. it currently has a 3 blade prop on it. can anyone tell me what this prop would be used for? it is also made out of a composite type material.

    Livewells?

    Ok new to the Livewell thing. I just purchased a 91 Aries 170 F/S and was cleaning the livewells out. water drained out of them good. Question i have is there a plug that goes in them to hold the water in? sounds dumb but figured i would ask.
