    Tachometer not workin on 3.0L Mercruiser. Where to begin?

    I have a 3.0L Mercruiser (Maxum 1998 1700SR). Bought last week and the tach is not working. Where should I begin troubleshooting? I had already repair the Speedometer gauge. I have a bad trim sender. Can the trim sender be repair or must be replace?

    Clink..Clink..Clink..Gear Make this Noise! Why?

    I have Maxum 1998 3.0L Mercruiser. Ran fine two days ago and took it out yesterday to clean carpen and vaccum the floor but today didn't start.     1998 Maxum 3.0L Mercruiser Leaking Oil. HELP.

    I took my boat out for a test today and notice the oil is leaking somewhere above the lower pulley. I have a 1998 Maxum 1700SR 3.0L Mercruiser 135HP. What would be the cause of this leak? What is the possible part name? Could it be from the 2nd picture below white color pulley?
